Easter Sunday! Woke up at 5:15a to get my 5k in before church IN RECORD TIME. Had a healthy breakfast and treated myself with a not so healthy dinner but wouldn’t call it a binge. All in all, feeling pretty good
man, I have not been good. Atleast, not diet wise.
Started off rough this morning, redeemed myself through the day. Past two days have been weak also. Tomorrow is a new day and I will get the most out of it.
Focus focus focus.
45 mins of weight training/aerobics this morning. Also did a shit ton of cleaning.
• green smoothie
• kashi mixed berry & almond milk
• multi grain tostitos & homemade salsa
• chicken gyro
*coffee in the am, snacked on cucumbers and almonds, had a small glass of unsweetened almond milk w/ 2 tsp choc malt powder nomnomnom

• 5k at 8a, goal = 36 mins or less
• client at noon
• haircut at 1:30p
• zumba!!! at 4:30p

Noticing different muscles becoming defined on my body. So hilarious and so exciting. Never stopping.
for a while, I didn’t notice any change in my body. I mean, some subtle changes but nothing too major. Then I looked at my hands. I use to have some serious sausage fingers and now they’re becoming slender and feminine. Just crazy. My hands.
I did something bad. har har har

back to square one. I didn’t make myself clear the first time, so here’s some ground rules:
• stick to the meal plan
• 30 days straight exercise, alternating days for running and weight training leaving Sunday an easy workout for rest
• strict sleeping schedule, bed by 11p, up by 7a
• morning workout done by 10a
• meals at 10:30a, 12:30p, 2:30p, 4:30p, 6:30p, 8:30p
• black coffee only, limited two cups each morning
• refill water bottle 7 times a day
• 7p easy breezy walk every night
alright, time to get my shit together. Get my impulsive behavior under confuckintrol. These binges are getting annoying and making me feel like crap. I’m certain it’s premenstrual related but whatever. No excuses.
I’m taking an oath to log everything that I put into my body. With a photo. Starting tomorrow.
Anywhooz, registering for classes in the a.m. Plan on yogging afterwards and possibly another Zumba session at 4:30. Need to start pushing myself harder. Sick of all this shit.
Today, I put on a pair of old cut off shorts from last summer. And I almost couldn’t get them up. Took a bit not to beat myself up over it.
My mood shifts are getting to me, I think its time for bed.
Zumba is no joke. Find a class near you asap. I’ve never had so much fun while sweating in my life.
I told myself I’d have the day off, a break from exercise, but I had a strong itch to run. Funny how that works.
I read somewhere ‘it takes 28 days to make a new habit, only four to break it’. I didn’t bother checking the source, but I like to believe it to be true. And completely relevant to my current lifestyle.
whooop, good day thus far. Weighed in this morning at 163.8. That means a total weight loss of 10 lbs and a weight loss of two lbs since I started running (five days ago). My diet still could use some more work, but I never, ever exceed more than 2,000 calories. A good day stays around 1,500 cals. Picked up some kale to throw in my smoothies. Replacing sugar with organic honey. What keeps me most confident is the fact that I’ve made this a real habit. A lifestyle. Its only been three months, but I can’t imagine going back. I feel so much better. I don’t even think about smoking. Just gotta assemble a new list of goals.
4th day of knocking the habit. Things are easier but still have strong desire for something in my mouth. Frozen grapes, perhaps? Getting my diet back on track. Did roughly 45 minutes of high intensity aerobics. Need to keep hydrated. I plan on logging my diet and exercise starting Monday. Excited to really try out my new lungs.
